i'm sure i should use the same font everytime i do this, but i don't care. if you don't like it, don't read it. anyway, hi! i'd like to say i have many exciting things to tell you about my new adventure, but i don't yet, so just hold your proverbial horses.
moving on to what is bothering me, i think people have a lot more balls than i do (in more ways than one). i can't imagine what makes anyone think they have the right to degrade you to your face. not that you should participate in this behavior behind someone's back, but if its meant in a caring manner, than the critizor might actually help the critizee(i know they're not words) by bouncing ideas off another person. but when, for example, this conversation takes place, i become amazed:
dumbass: "ha ha ha, can't you pronounce that phrase in a foreign language that you just totally f*&^ed up, are you kidding me--ha ha, are you totally kidding me?"
me: "i'm sorry i can't pronounce all the phrases trivial pursuit might challenge me with--i got a 36 in reading on my ACT, do you think i can't read? i also probably have a bac of .14, do you really think i might not f&*k up while i'm reading?"
dumbass---"ha ha ha ha ha ha"
i guess i should also preface this with the fact that i had listened to the above person criticize everyone in the room prior to my outburst(it wasn't quiet). i'm normally not a rude person, in fact, i usually go out of my way to be friendly and/or help other people, but i was at my limit. i don't know why anyone thinks they have the right to act this way. i also can't believe i stooped to her level. oh what the vodka does to me..... by the way, happy monday!
